I've been helping my mom clear out things. She's a packrat, so it's not been easy. We found this old metal radio that's heavy and has tubes. Don't know what year it was made. On the bottom, there's a sticker that says Arvin Model 444A Chassis RE-200, 117 volts AC/DC, 30 watts. Noblitt Sparks Industries, Inc. Columbus, Indiana. Has a schematic on the sticker too. Is it worth anything or should we just toss it out or scrap it for metal? I would plug it in, but the cord is not usable. Don't know if it works. Doubt it after so long.

Hi, even though it's missing it's foil dial sticker, this is a 1946 Midget. It's a pretty popular style with collectors, this one may be only a parts radio or if the Chassis is still good, someone may be interested in restoring it. You just never know. A Midget in good condition could fetch around $300.

Thanks! I'll try to find a buyer for it then.
