I have acquired this Bisque 18" doll that has the markings JDK 221 on back of head. She has auburn curly hair. The doll is jointed at Knees, wrist, elbows. I did see a doll on here that has the same color, curls on her hair but it is a reproduction.

Your doll is a reproduction of a Kestner doll mold 221 Googly eye made in Germany . Ceramic studios made molds from original dolls and sold blanks that a hobbyist could paint and they fired doll for you . They also sold eyes, clothes, wigs , ect or patterns to make clothes . The original of these highly collectible antique doll sells in thousands so many people made their own like yours. She makes a nice display doll but not a original .
      She dates from around 1980s -90s .

I have one of these too. Also a reproduction, but still so adorable.
