I bought a box of misc items from an auction over 20 years ago. It was a weird purchase for a ~20 year old me, but I kept them as I always found them interesting. I feel like 3 if them are Klumpe - Roldan, but am unsure about the woman as her hands have stitched fingers and the rest don't. Does anyone know anything about them.

I believe only one is a Klumpe or Roladan 2nd from left. The woman looks like she is from India and the 2 men might be English ? Maybe someone recognizes their uniform. The Jester looking man with a scroll could be town Crier ? And the Military male reminds me of " The Red Coats are coming " These could be part of a tourist doll collection .

Thank you so much for replying. The man with the gun and Sabre and the one with the ruffle both have 'made in spain' tag on them. There are no tags on the other two.

The woman is the one that has me most confused.

I didn't know they had Spain tags on them but there were other companies that made felt dolls in Spain other than Klumpe and Roldan . Does it say anything else ?

I thought that he was the Klumpe. I'm going to do some more digging on the others. The 2 men have the made in Spain tags and that's it. The woman has nothing on it.

Hello, The others : These mens felt dolls were created by the firm Dona (I have not been able to find out in which part of Spain) and distributed by Donaty Trading Company. Were introduced to the American market in 1954 at the New York and international Gifts Besides their exquisite costuming, the facial expression of Dona dolls is charazterized by their thin triangular-shaped faces with beads for eyes and felt mouth. Each doll in the brochure is numbered with a detoiled description of the character and its outfits. The man of papiro is named "Hispanish Cavalier of the XVI century" - number catalogo 813. Collection "Authentic National and period costumes" I hope I have helped you.
