This is a reproduction electric lamp, styled after gas light fixtures used on the dining tables of the historic Orient Express luxury train. Made of brass with claw footed base and adjustable height shade over a clear chimney, there is a green enamel tag on its pedestal reading ORIENT EXPRESS PARIS ISTANBUL.
Lamps like this have been reasonably popular decor items for awhile now, maybe 1980's or before, I don't really know how old this particular one is or how to tell one from another, there aren't any other markings to show who actually made it.
