This is a reproduction china doll head made in a doll making class or ceramic studio. The ceramic studio sold you a blank mold that you painted and they fired for you . They also sold bodies ,wigs, eyes, patterns for clothes for you to finish doll. Very popular during 1980s-90s when antique dolls were selling very high and this was next best thing . The mold is made off a antique doll and the antique doll is not hurt during the process. These make nice décor pieces or if you know someone in your family painted it perhaps sentimental value . This hobby does go back into the 1950s but not as popular to do then. There were also kits sold that face was painted but you put doll together ,which is another option for your doll. Did anyone sign back of shoulder plate ?
A original would look more like this one . It has the same wavy hairdo also.

You always get it right Mani, I used to just about haunt those whiteware and greenware shops, where I may have been later as I started going there in the mid 80's and loved going there passing a few antique shops on the way. A lot of good molds were popular there also.
Dear Manikin,
Thanks a lot for your help.
This doll doesn't have any marks or signs.
Now I understand why she looks strange, this is a custom variant )).
Thanks again,
Sincerely
