      From way out in left field: Wasn't it "The Wizard of Oz" that had talking tree characters with faces kinda like this??

      Hey Kathy, it reminds me of some of the Pottery that Jim Rumph did in the 1960-70's, I don't think that it's his but looks similar so might be from that time period, or someone that worked with him! Thanks for showing Good Luck with Your search! Bill :^)
