Just for fun -- has anybody else ever heard of this stuff?? BAG BALM was invented by a Vermont farmer in 1899 or so, when he apparently found himself with chafed and uncomfortable milk cows. (note the logo, pic4) Its not terribly difficult to imagine how the poor Bessies could get that way...if any of us had to endure getting our t*ts yanked on for an hour every day in a Vermont winter, we'd probably get chafed, too?! <lol> At least according to common lore, it also works on the "bags" under the rear ends of male cows, and even on Farmer Whatshisname's similar anatomy ifn's *he'd* get his drawers in a twist. (but they're careful NOT to put that usage on the label?! <LOL>)

This can isn't very old, there's a UPC on its bottom along with a date code that's probably 1999. It was found in a house cleanout and only kept for the novelty, I wasn't the one that paid $7.50 for it somewhere called DRUG EMPORIUM, and I have not (and probably will not) ever attempted to actually use it.
A well respected product that has been around for many years Still being produced and is available from many retailers.
Garden and farm supply stores usually sell this product…I’ve never bought it but I’ve “herd” is good stuff.
Oddly, many ski resorts also sell this product. It is supposedly good for preventing chapped lips.
It is available just about everywhere, Walmart sells it.
