The Iraqi M80 Helmet is a ballistic nylon helmet used by the Iraqi Armed Forces from the early 1980s onwards. They were used in the Iran-Iraq War, The Gulf War/Operation Desert Storm and the 2003 Invasion of Iraq/Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Hello, the suspension system is very similar to that of U.S. helmet liners during the Vietnam era. Nice.
Thanks! these helmets were made in South Korea and sold to the Iraqis, the suspension is removable and easy to replace, made just like a late issue US helmet liner that also had the snap in webbing design

another fantastic example battlegear ,i have an m80 with what looks like a ww2 style notted british net the original green has faded to tan like in your example ,would you say yours is possibly a us net ,i found on mine that the liner was removed to tuck the net up high inside ,keep up the great work showing your nice collection
