    I think that this is a pre-colombian piece which i found in a thrift shop today for $2. I'm pretty sure that it is an old artifact because the yellow/orange lichen on it takes a very long time to form. Also, the inside of the bowl had this ocher/red slip on it and that also looks pre-colombian. Probably Mexican? An Elk or deer? What do you think? I bought it just as a fragment of unknown origin.

      I think this is a Zebu Bull, so not pre-contact. Probably from Guatemala or Southern Mexico. Might be quite early. They've been making those there for at least 200 years.
