Check to see if the statue has the name of the Hartland Plastic Co. on it. Either it is a repro or someone repainted the original statue. The pose is that of a statue known as the "batboy", which was an unofficial part of the Hartland baseball statue series which was made in the mid 1950's until the mid 1960's. The series consisted of 18 star players of the time, in action poses. Some of the statues which were made were of Babe Ruth, Ernie Banks, Hank AAron, Nellie Fox, and others. The Hartland Co. was based in Wisconsin. A 25th year annivesary set was made some years back. It is also possible this is from that set, of which the quality was very poor. Hartland also made football statues and TV western characters. I will post some pictures of my original Babe Ruth Hartland so you have an idea of what an original looks like.
