Germans were the bad guys in WWII but they were a favorite of kids in the 60s. Also a favorite of adults model makers and toy collectors now. I believe it is the style. Tamiya sold millions of models of tanks that existed in small amounts. Some less than 100 were made. But no tanks here just German soldiers and some scenery.
First up are the goose stepping German soldiers. The marching soldiers are the first ones killed in toy soldier combat.
Next some soldiers firing behind some ruins. These are some highly useful poses.
Now assuming the photos I add after I post this work out nest will be the backside of the dreaded pillbox. They did need a figure firing the MG 34 instead of carrying it over the shoulder.
Wrapping it up with the also dreaded 88mm gun. Tankers didn't like it.
Next will be the Americans.
I love how you have all of these setup, especially pic #4.
Thank you very much Scott. Setting them up is most of the fun.
