Here is a 4"H caramel slag glass terrier dog with its tongue out to one side, the fourth and last in the series of Parlour Pups made by Imperial Glass in the early 1950s. This reissue in caramel slag is ca 1970s and has the raised IG imprint on its side
Such a great little terrier pup!!
Cute little pup!
She is all dolled up with the bow tie. wonderful pup who looks mischevious !~
He’s either panting or he’s licking his lips before or after a tasty treat! His color is lovely too, I’m reminded of something chocolatey looking at him- so rich and dark! :D
Oh how cute. Most dogs pant, and any media portrait doesn't show that always. Refreshing for sure.
With thanks to you all for the puppy love

MrsT my cutie pup thanks you for your sweet praise, it looks an eager one who would bound at you with joy :)
Yes Phil this doggie is all fancied up with that bow and has rather a mischievous look, great comment & observ thank you so much!
Lauren you're right, this marbled slag color also looks a chocolatey brown, how delish :) This puppy looks happy with his tongue out, easy to tell a dog's emotions by their body language. Awesome perceptive comment as always my friend, thank you
Thanks Lori for your lovely praise for this Imperial terrier and that's a thoughtful observation, most dogs in glass or other art don't show the panting look which is a dog's natural state, instead they mostly just kind of outline the body so you know which breed, very basic it seems
