Inherited my grandmother's German beer steins

I wasn't allowed to touch them as a child, but always wanted to use them as castles and prisons for my Star Wars action figures. She spent a great deal of time in Germany, but she lived near Prince Edward Island and she collected steins and bone china tea cups obsessively. Researching both isn't easy.
