This is a Early 60's Sears spaceliner I have. When I got it The handle bars were incorrect & also the seat. So I replaced those. And also It was missing the spinner "hubcap" on the front chainring, so that was added back. The Original Chrome is in Excellent shape as is the original paint.

Thanks toolate2 ! I also have a all Chrome Frame spaceliner, not in as good of condition though. The spaceliners are nice looking bikes I think, the frame design is what makes it cool to me !!

I've had a few over the years and I've come to really appreciate the painted version like this one. When you have one in great shape like your's I don't think there's a better looking bike out there. Thanks for sharing!

      Beautiful bike, excellent example!
I have a soft spot for Spaceliners too (I have a chrome frame one that I restored a while back)!

What you have was made from 1966-68. The tip off is the tear drop reflector on the rear fender (it was changed from a single round reflector in 64/65 to a tear drop style in 66-68). Also, this model never came with a chain ring cap, so it was correct originally.

Also, if you want to learn more about your bike (and Spaceliners in general) and see pictures and catalog scans, check out my Ultimate Sears Spaceliner Reference (yours is model 46303). http://www.thecabe.com/forum/threads/the-ultimate-sears-spaceliner-reference.35629/
