I would like to find some more knowledge as to when this pottery was made. The research I have acquired already revealed that the decoration of the vase represents the famous portrait of Federico da Montefeltro and Battista Sfora by artist Piero della Francesca as well as the coat of arms of the House of Montefeltro.
Hi! The company is called "Ceramiche Mannozzi" a firm that did this type of work in the first quarter of the twentieth century. They were in Monopoli in the province of Pisa and were well known for these terracotta pieces done in the mediaeval style.
As you say the portraits are based on Portraits of Federico da Montefeltro and His Wife Battista Sforza (1465-66), Panel, 47 x 33 cm (each), Galleria degli Uffizi, Firenze.
Where would I take something like this to find out it’s value?
