I'm especially interested in the origin of my Spanish dolls, whether they are Solneli dolls or Onil dolls. I have now been told by one of my respondents, Kellymore, that they most likely are Onil dolls. Otherwise: In the group photograph there is a German Sonni doll from the 1950s DDR (the small one in the pink pyjama and short hair), a cabbage patch (or similar made doll) from USA, and some newer dolls from the 80s and upwards, origin unknown. I believe the smaller one hiding behind the Spanish doll's hat is an American doll, that's her in the blue jumpsuit in a separate photo. The blue bows on the Spanish dolls are new, and one or two pairs of shoes are replicas of the original ones- where the dolls have lost one or both, but the rest is the original clothing. The doll with the blue cap is a boy, the only one in this collection. The girl with the red dress and white collar is a Zapf doll, German made. Her clothes are not original as they're ordinary store bought baby clothes. She's a soft doll with rubber arms and legs.
Hello Sirissnu,. It is somewhat difficult to distinguish who is who, in a group of dolls so similar. When we investigate we have to see how their bodies are made, their hands, in addition to the head, if you give me time maybe I can give you better data and provide art some interesting photo. I would need as un È-mail.
