This WW II Japanese flag was brought back to the states by a Marine veteran. It was captured on the island of Okinawa. The flag has kanji, inked by a brush. It also has some damage as well as blood stains. This veteran sent many souvenirs home while in the Pacific, and brought souvenirs with him when he returned home.
