    Mysteryman…

This is made of bronze, I think. It has a threaded screw on/off cap. It is not marked anywhere. I think it may be a cremation urn from long ago. Just trying to find out about the age and if it even is a cremation urn. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Not sure, possibly french. In the old car accessories books (estremely rare files), I have one which show some of the posy or flower accessories which were mounted on cars, this reminds me of them. I will check those again when I make time.

I think an urn is a reasonable guess. At first I was thinking a torch..like olympics..but wrong shape and too small. All the auto vases I've seen were glass and more cone shaped..

So what about a hand or foot warmer in a coach or car..?

Thank you all for the imput. Im not convinced it's a car vase though. It's so much larger than any I've seen. The mystery continues.
