    Hi ALL!
So I just could NOT resist posting this. If you know me, you know I am NOT a fan of dolls (I still love you Mani)!

Come on tho! This is enough to frighten anyone, let alone a kid. Thinking about it, this is the exact reason I don't care for dolls. I was scared out of my wits as a child when my grandmother took me to her friend's house that had wall to wall dolls... Everywhere! Yikes!!!

Still thinking of everyone and missing you always. My journey is almost finished and I'll return with pure joy! Until then, Hasta! XOXO

Hi Share ! Yes she is creepy. Some of the newer eyes in dolls change color and need to be replaced like hers. I have very few dolls maybe 2 or 3. I collect advertising miniature manikins from the 40s. I get creeped out by those life like newborns and block people that act like they are a mother to a doll. I got my knowledge working in doll museum and antique doll shoppe 25 years . So no you would not see them at my house. :-) The ones I have are in a spare room and awork area to repair them and often do that for resale. How are you ? xo

this is a albino Shirley temple doll.... my mom was one...
    3. arctophilegirl, 3 years ago
Walkingthefloor is right. She is an albino ST doll... :)

Hi stranger!! I love your doll with the creepy eyes. Good to see you posting again.
    5. Manikin Manikin, 3 years ago
She was not made with red eyes . I know Albino people have red eyes due to lack of pigment. Perhaps if you have a child or family member with this syndrome they would appreciate the doll. These eyes have changed color never were intended tobe this color . Here is a article to read https://dollsdollsdolls.net/2017/06/28/the-eyes-have-it/
    6. arctophilegirl, 3 years ago
I know. I have some dolls myself whose eyes have turned red. I was just joking - hence the :).
    7. arctophilegirl, 3 years ago
I find this doll a bit creepy too, but she has her own fascination though.
      Is she a particular brand?
    8. fortapache fortapache, 3 years ago
      Delightfully creepy.
    9. arctophilegirl, 3 years ago
      "Delightfully creepy" - perfect definition!
For me it's more the smile than the eyes though.

Hey there share, hope all is good. Very interesting Shirley doll, would be cute without the "lemur" eyes right. Look forward to seeing you again soon

really creepy. and not only the eyes.

Oh my goodness! I responded last night, apparently one has to tap the submit button!!! Geez, oh, maybe I hit that arrow! Nevertheless, I read the article / blog and found it very interesting Manikin, first I was surprised that the doll is so new! I guess the doll makers do that on purpose, but to have the eye change randomly... That just adds an even weirder feel to her. Now she keeps staring at me. I think I'll turn her around till I leave!!! Lol. Thanks for the info from the blog, besides loving being here with all of you and the friendships made, this is just the best place to learn about everything!!! Xoxo. Now, let me hit submit... Well, there's the problem right there! I'm not your everyday submissive person. Just kidding!
    14. shareurpassion shareurpassion, 3 years ago
WTF- Your mom was an albino Shirley Temple? She must have been a double for her then!

Just joking, I know what you meant! Sometimes this spell check can really get a person in trouble! Or the fact that Google can read, type, send change and or delete anything it wants is kinda frightening, lol it could make you look like this doll... Kinda sick, right?!!
    15. shareurpassion shareurpassion, 3 years ago
Ohhhh, that's exactly what I thought I did, right after I made the last comment, I hit that arrow to the right instead of the submit button. BB2 is gonna have fun with the submissive comment! Lolol.

Thanks for your comment APGirl, much appreciated!

HI MR JAY!!! How the heck are ya? I've been wanting to post a lot in the past couple years and will get back to regular soon , I will have plenty of time in the near future. It's always so cool to be out and about, see something, one little thing that brings my mind back to a particular person here and either have awesome memories about it or even buy it because of something I've learned. In fact, just the other day I picked up a doorstop, heavy too, it reminded me of you and the only reason I didn't purchase it was because it was a cat! The two things I am not a fan of, dolls and cats. Yes, I said it! Hee hee... Much love to you! Xoxo

Oh what??? I just scrolled back up and saw my reference to Walkingthefloor!!! Lolol, now that's funny! Plz don't take offense!
    19. shareurpassion shareurpassion, 3 years ago
APgirl, I don't know the brand and because she's not mine, I'm not touching her to find out... She's too darn creepy to touch anyway!
    20. shareurpassion shareurpassion, 3 years ago
Hey fort! How you be? Nice to see you and no, I have to disagree, as I just looked over at her, she's just plain creepy! Lol! Thanks for droppin a comment tho! Much love!
    21. shareurpassion shareurpassion, 3 years ago
Hi Jenni, always good seeing you too! Something I've recently found out is, if someone has given me something, I don't have any problems passing it along. My friend said she keeps the doll because someone she was close to gave it to her... The article Mani referred to here is very informative. I had no idea! I've actually released so many things in my possession recently, it's very freeing, the memories will always remain! Thanks for droppin in! Xoxo

MC- I agree 100%! I looked at her again and even the teeth are creepy. She's got an evil look about her. Yeah, no thanks, right!?!

Manikin, wow!!! What a difference!!! That's doll you linked to is cute. I could hang out with her!!! I didn't even recognize my friends doll to be Shirley Temple, and I loved her movies! I gave my old pic of Shirley Temple to that friend just after I found out that's who the doll was!
