i found this old mirror while backpacking through northern MN. i ran upon a couple that were hoarders/collectors. nice couple just a little strange! they had tons of stuff, a little bit of everything. while the old-man showed me his ''Back Street Boys'' doll and lunchbox collection, i noticed this old mirror sitting outside,who knows how long it had been out there in the rain, it was falling apart the finish was flaking off every time you touched it. so after i traded the mirror to the lady for a set of Pee-wee Herman tissue paper and hand sanitizer . i had no choice but to refinish the mirror, i had a piece of cherry wood that filled in nicely where a small piece was missing. im not sure of the age,but you can tell its old, i would like to find out when they started to bevel mirrors? i would like to thank vintagemad you truly are my inspiration!

thanks foghorn! i feel your pain, my mom was a car thief and had to sit some time in the big house! i think it hardened her some, but if you met her brothers you would understand.
