    I think that this is a very old adjustable candlestick. Maybe someone can tell me more or less when it was made. I love the patina on it. I found it today at a thrift shop.

      thanks jscotto. i think it's 18th c, but i'm not that experienced w/ brass candlesticks. some people know them really well.

      Believe most of these hogscraper candlesticks are 19th century.

      I’d put yours about mid 19th century.

      I done up a few pigs ...a lot of work ..but it aint to bad with friends helping and a bottle of juice to pass around ..."- the old candlesticks work slick..
