DSM, The Bergheim (Mountain Home) train station model looks like Faller model # 131280:

      https://www.reynaulds.com/products/Faller/131280.aspx

Not to be confused with Faller model # 108 (the railings on the deck are different):

      https://www.catawiki.com/en/l/37946611-faller-h0-108-scenery-bergheim-train-station

At a glance, you're missing the people at the train station.

      You could try Faller:

Thank you so much keramikos!, I know I am missing alot, especially the one that resembles a castle etc...I'll keep searching..
    3. keramikos, 3 years ago
      DSM, You're welcome.

Yeah, the train station was kinda like the low-hanging fruit because of the sign with the name on it. The other ones are more difficult.

For instance, the one that looks like it's connected to a hill or mountain seemed to me like it should be some kind of mining operation; however, using "Faller mine model" for search criteria produced a lot of Faller mine models that didn't look like yours. >8-0

However, a search for "Faller mill" produced this:

      https://www.reynaulds.com/products/Faller/130225.aspx

I was actually trying to find the one that looks like a castle tower because it also looks like it has a defunct water wheel out back. Go figure, huh? };-)

I know next to nothing about Faller models, so I had to start with some history:

      https://marklinstop.com/2014/07/history-of-the-faller-company/

This outfit has vintage Faller catalogs ranging from 1948 to 1980:

      https://www.conradantiquario.info/faller_katalogservice.html

You can page through them by clicking on an individual catalog and then clicking either "nächste Seite >>" (next page>>) or "<< zurück" (<<back).

Wow Karamikos!! Thanks for proving those links. I've done so much research but didn't come across those links. At this point; I feel I need to get the entire collection out of storage and view what I have, once again. There are so many pieces and cars I need to place and sought out. I acquired them from an Architect's stoop sale and lost out on a full train set that belonged to the set, I even went looking for the man who purchased it, in hopes of buying them from him, but he was gone! Well, thank you for your kindness and leads in helping out! Looking forward to your feedback once I retrieve them from storage and uploading the photos.

Hmmm, this "re-edition" of Lahr Stork Tower seems close:

      https://www.reynaulds.com/products/Faller/130500.aspx

I haven't found the original edition.
    6. DSM, 3 years ago
The "re-edition" of Lahr Stork Towerone is quite different in style and size, maybe mine is an original.
    7. keramikos, 3 years ago
DSM, Yup, I suspect you're right.

What I originally keyed in on was the style of the tower roof, which looks the same. However, the re-edition seems to have eliminated the disused water wheel and filled the courtyard with people.

I wonder if the re-edition is a reflection of changes that have happened to the real Lahr Stork Tower since the original model was made. A search for photos of the real Lahr Stork Tower turned up a lot of variations, e.g.:

I also wonder whether that structure that supports the unused water wheel in your model is/was a well which shows up in some photos:

    9. keramikos, 3 years ago
I did some more poking around and found this B-929 version of the Lahr Stork Tower:

      https://www.altemodellbahnen.de/t17818f78-Faller.html

That really fancier one (130500) seems to be the Faller 70th anniversary edition (you can see some of the little flags have "70 Jahre Faller" on them):

      https://www.amazon.de/Faller-FA-130500-Storchenturm-LAHR/dp/B01EYPYL5Q

      https://www.amazon.com/Faller-130500-Stork-Tower-Building/dp/B01EYPYL5Q

But now I'm wondering: is that water wheel part of it? I don't see it in B929. Is it perhaps part of 130225?:

    10. DSM, 3 years ago
Keramikos, B-929 is the one!! I have many of the pieces missing according to my pictures, I may have put those pieces together with another. I also noticed the surrounding town houses that match mine. I need to sought out the entire lay-out.
      You are great! Thanks again.

DSM, Hey, you are very welcome. :-)

If you get any really sticky Faller questions, these seem to be the go-to folks:

      https://www.marklin-users.net/forum/topics/57-Faller-collectibles

One member (Fallerfreak) has even taken photos of the original buildings on which the Faller models were based:

    13. DSM, 3 years ago
Thanks, they certainly have a style of there own.

DSM, I don't know if you've had any success in identifying the Faller model in your third picture, but after failing to find it using "hotel" in my search criteria, I decided to try "winery" (based on the mysterious brown circular thing).

Well, I didn't find it, but I did find the Faller model for me:

      *snip*

The annual festival at Bad Duerkheim is all about wine and wurst (I never went to Oktoberfest when I lived in Germany, but I never missed the Bad Duerkheim Wurstmarkt):

Hi keramikos! You're model is very nice! Sure would love to go to that annual festival at Bad Duerkheim, looks & sounds great. Here are some of the model #'s that I had taken photos of several years back when I researched them. They are all in a storage that I can't get to at the moment but when I do, I'll take more photos of all angles.

      Faller Jaguar #4853, Faller Caravane-AMS 5969, Kibri R2, Sherbert, #92301. 135/I, Tri-ang, 265-2580, 546, 1395, 1081, 282, 1982, 11101, 92901, Faller H0 130387 Small Forest house, Faller AMS -- VW Beetle Polizel with Zinc Engine, Faller Ams -- Bu?ssing Truck, Faller 191705 H0 1. World's largest Cuckoo clock, Faller 131243 H0 Settler's house, Faller 130291 H0 Lookout tower, Faller 130232 H0 Decorative fountain, Faller 130222 H0 Single family home with Timber frame.
    16. keramikos, 3 years ago
DSM, Ah, so you do know the model numbers of a lot of them. :-)

Yeah, that one in your third picture is starting to bug me, because I haven't found it.
    17. keramikos, 3 years ago
D'oh! So that mystery one is perhaps Faller 265?:

      https://www.faller.de/en/miniature-worlds/from-the-series/classics/11704/b-265-old-factory-building

      https://www.altemodellbahnen.de/t27441f78-Erscheinungsjahr-von-Faller-B-quot-alte-Fabrik-quot.html
    18. keramikos, 3 years ago
Yup, that sure could explain that mystery brown circular thing next to the vestibule -- the support for a missing smoke stack.
    19. DSM, 3 years ago
I just found the photos of the mdl #'s this morning, had no idea I had them; Whats now missing is the other photos; of the models although I do have very few now. In earlier days ,I couldn't find several of the models. Not sure if the third photo is on the list I posted either. I'll check the model ID's against the links you provided.
    20. DSM, 3 years ago
B265 is not a match to the third photo one.
    21. keramikos, 3 years ago
You sure could have fooled me.

It has the two wings of the building with different construction materials, one brick with a tiled roof, the other perhaps stucco with a tin roof, the little vestibule next to the brown circular thing, the corrugated awning in back of the stucco wing, etc.
    22. DSM, 3 years ago
You are right!! I found a photo of B265 and it is a match. I have both those buildings but I may be missing several parts. Thanks
    23. keramikos, 3 years ago
Thanks, I was beginning to wonder whether I was seeing things. };-)

Actually, I only found it when I started looking up some of those Faller model numbers you posted earlier today.
    24. keramikos, 3 years ago
DSM, while my brain is still on this track, I tried to look up all of the kits/parts in your comment from the other day. I tried to stick to permalinks (i.e, not eBay listings and the like).

      You're welcome. :-)

It's been kinda slow in the vintage sewing machine department lately so I needed some puzzles to occupy me. };-)

FYI, on some of those wiki listings, you really have to look through all of the pictures, because they're listings for more than one Faller model and sometimes just parts thereof.

For instance, that 1395 water wheel might be the water wheel propped up against the well in your B-929 Lahr castle tower and might actually be part of your 130225 Water mill with pump (or some other Faller model of a water mill).

The 92901 Lahr castle tower might be a subset of B-929.

I think this is where those Faller wonks in that marklin-users dot net forum might be able to shed some light.

But by all means, if you need more Internet searches from me, post away. :-)
    27. DSM, 3 years ago
Thank you!! I will keep all of your advice in mind-always.
