I am searching for my childhood teddy bear. I have begun to collect special toys from my childhood. Most have been lost to the sands of time, and others fell victim to natural disasters (water damage, dog teeth). This lovely specimen hails from circa 1970s. He is graced with dark brown fur over 80% of his body. The remaining 20% is white fur in his ears, on his nose, on his feet and hands. The feet and hand pads are velvety. Also, this bear is FULLY jointed/articulated. I strongly suspect he is a Knickerbocker, but I am not positive. A good number of my toys growing up were Knickerbocker.
Blessings

Thank-you. Close, but not quite. Every time I've searched, I do a double take when I see that one. Mine had white in it's ears.
Maybe they also made some with white in their ears...
Actually I have found some Knickerbocker Animals of Distinction bears with white in their ears, but the snout is a bit different.
