      Hi, yeadonite. :-)

A Google search for "R&C Bavaria Alice" will produce some similar blue and gilt edged plates with portraits in the center (I'm not linking them because none of them seem like permalinks).

This justanswer dot com listing indicates that this is actually Rosenthal and that "Alice" might be the mold name (which makes sense to me, because the plate at JA doesn't have a portrait in the center):

haven,t put effort in this, some type of Rosenthal China desging IMO it breaths all fin de siecle

apostata - I sometimes question my googling skills. I have made mistakes in the past giving away things that were valuable. I am going to keep the plate but like to know more about it

the credits go to keramikos , i missed her remark she is very skilled , and the answer is sufficient as always , i thought i was the first one comming in , it probably intertwinted the is imo fin the siecle, because of fake french lily design pseudo qianlong inner circle( japonism) and pseudo gold gilding , its a rural romantiqe

imo but i haven,t search it , its something like 1885-1910, its of style comparable to the limoges and sevres scenes who are a bit earlier ( latency periode) but is is not of the same value

i am not allowed to value assess it , but it is less than 3 figures

by the way you are in an R and C and not in an R and W, so you are mostly likely within the Rosenthalis consortium

      Thank you!
