In 2002 while on our honeymoon in Hawaii we went to Pearl Harbor, i bought a 3 coin commemorative set. i had never collected coins! i just wanted a souvenir. about a year later i went to the book store to see if i could find a price guide. i found the 2003 red book, that's when it all started! collecting not only coins but the past issues of the red and blue book. in the back of the current editions they list them as collectables.so on was the search book stores, thrift stores, i was lucky enough to find a first edition/printing in 1947 they printed 9,000 copies with another 9,000 to follow because of demand, the only difference is one sentence phrased a different way. the book is in great shape it looks like new! but i know nothing about books! i think the 2010 issue had it listed at $1,500 for one in good shape,as for the blue book its a 1943 2nd edition like new and listed for 500 or so. the great thing is i only paid .50 each! the bad thing is trying to brag to people and nobody knows anything about them. i live in a small town so wouldn't expect anyone to, but the guy that owns the coin shop!! he just looked at me like i was a leper! so i just wanted to see if i am the only one out there that collects these books and would give me there opinion on the grade. sorry for the quality of the pics.
Wow, such a beautiful book. I believe true masterpieces can be created solely with the help of the talent of the writer, who went from idea to writing. By the way this thought I heard from my friend who usually uses services like https://edureviewer.com/services/studymoose-com-review/ - despite the fact that experts work there and make high-quality content, it does not have that soul and atmosphere that the passionated writer is able to create.
