Sparklets bottle not sure what it is or what it was used for but it had character so I paid small amount for it and hv it as a display in my kitchen

well, how many radioactive water bottles can there really be????? LOL
It is a Sparklets Seltzer Bottle, called a Syphon, used to carbonate liquids. They were manufactured in Great Britain and New York by the Sparklets Corporation a division of the British Oxygen Company. They are constructed from pure block tin and nickel plated. The glass bottle was manufactured in Czechoslovakia and wrapped in their classic diamond weave pattern, which provides structural support to the glass while it is under pressure.
The 1920’s and 1930’s, the heyday of seltzer’s in the United States; Sparklets bottles were first exhibited at the Paris International Exhibition in 1900. It was so popular throughout history numerous things bore its name including: a prized orchid, race horses, prize pigs, a WWI plane, a car, and naturally drinks. During prohibition, Sparklets were used to make flavored sodas by mixing fruit syrups with seltzer.
While outward the design of the bottles stayed pretty much the same for many years, the internal workings of the head changed. After during and after WWII the bottles were no longer available from Czechoslovakia and a major redesign was implemented to an outward appearance of the more modern metal body which is typical of contemporary bottles sold today.
