This knife has WW2 history. The original owner was a corporal in the Australian army and in 1945 was last stationed as a field ambulance driver in Kota Kinabalu (formally Jesselton)
According to his son who I received it from, he probably had it made by a local blacksmith who used bullets for the guard.
Initials of the corporal at the end of the handle which seems to be maybe horn of some local deer? The sheath is crocodile skin.
Great piece with a great story. Name of soldier withheld obviously for privacy.
Bit more than just a conversation piece, eh ! Luv it !!
