Original Murano Glass egg shaped paperweight

This glass egg shaped paperweight is about 3.5" high and 2.5" widest diameter. It has an odd looking (to me) pontil scar probably because the egg is hollow and was blown into this shape. It bears a label that says "Original Murano Glass Italia". Maker not known.

I came across this while browsing cheap stuff on an online auction site and put down the minimal bid on it. It was cheap and had free shipping so I just did it due to curiosity as the colors are really odd, something I have not seen on Murano glass before so thought it would be worth the low cost if I won it and I did. Seller's poor images, temporarily.

There is a web site, www.originalmuranoglass.com but I do not know if there is a connection to this paperweight...
