I don’t think I can take her wig off without destroying it. I will need to soak it off with something gentle to see if there are any markings underneath. Not sure if I want to compromise the good seal the wig has. It seems pretty fragile as it is human hair or horsehair and quite brittle.
I don't think she is an Armand Marseille 390 because the markings of the AM 390 are usually quite low on the neck so they should be visible if she were indeed an AM 390. Maybe there is another marking under the wig, but I totally understand if you don't want to remove it. I would be afraid too.
I referred to her as looking more like a 390-dolly face bisque doll. Knowing maker will not change her value or make you love her less:-) Human hair wig. I dampen the bottom of wig with drops of water on my fingers and gently pull up when removing wig. If you have never done itI would leave it alone.
