This white (porcelain?) pitcher is another antique passed down generations. It is in good shape, but the stamp on the bottom is very very faint. I edited the picture to make it darker, but still cannot figure it out. Any clues out there??

I think the photo is basically upside down. If you flip it to the left you can see that the shape is a crown rather than a star. Above it is the word Royal ……

But it is not Crown Derby. Needs more research.

Yes, you are right! I think it does say "Royal", but for some reason I cannot rotate it to appear straight on this site. It is straight in my photos. Yes, it is a crown also.
Well, I am getting closer to the answer. Thank you so much!

I can help you out with the photos. It’s one of the ‘quirk’s’ of CW … edit the photos that are difficult. I just take an edge of one side slightly the reload the photo and should ‘obey’. Before I post anything I edit all my photos and there are no problems.

Thank you. I do edit it because this drives me crazy. I thought it was because I am using a Mac and maybe it is not compatible. Are you reloading after you post it?
I am not sure what you mean.
