Here is a very interesting tintype a purchased with some other photos this man in photo has a resemblance of a younger Butch Cassidy I uploaded this photo next to Butch Cassidy photo on pictriev a face recognition site and it came up a remarkable 92 percentage face match I welcome all experts opinions thanks I appreciate it.last photo is a actual photo of him before he became a outlaw.
Looks like seldom is.
What led you to Cassidy? You say “early”— when was the photo taken?

I'm not sure on date of photo based on clothes and the other photos I purchased probably 1870s era what led me to Butch Cassidy is I saw a photo of him when he was around 20 and there is a resemblance of him with this photo.
I always associate BC with a strong, square jawline- don’t see it here.
I am not familiar with the comparison photo used— is it historically accepted?
Source?
MAY be a case of a looks like another looks like?
BC was born in 1866, so that would make him about 14 or younger— doesn’t seem to fit with what I see.
