    Here is a very interesting tintype a purchased with some other photos this man in photo has a resemblance of a younger Butch Cassidy I uploaded this photo next to Butch Cassidy photo on pictriev a face recognition site and it came up a remarkable 92 percentage face match I welcome all experts opinions thanks I appreciate it.last photo is a actual photo of him before he became a outlaw.

      What led you to Cassidy? You say “early”— when was the photo taken?

      I'm not sure on date of photo based on clothes and the other photos I purchased probably 1870s era what led me to Butch Cassidy is I saw a photo of him when he was around 20 and there is a resemblance of him with this photo.

      I always associate BC with a strong, square jawline- don’t see it here.

      I am not familiar with the comparison photo used— is it historically accepted?

      MAY be a case of a looks like another looks like?

      BC was born in 1866, so that would make him about 14 or younger— doesn’t seem to fit with what I see.
