    So from research and finally finding a collector whom I could speak with over the phone they are saying it's a WW2 Soviet Shashka Sword.. I personally think it's amazing.

      Agree on all counts— blade/ blade markings look to be for a genuine piece. But like buss, this is not my focus.

      If it was Cossack, it would have been finely sharpened. Does this show signs of that?
