Pictured are pieces of equipment that a Japanese officer would be carrying during the war in the Pacific. Included in the grouping is a lightweight sun helmet, a map case, canteen with a small screwtop cup, belt, a walking crop, and his Shin-Gunto officer sword which still has the surrender tag attached. All of these pieces were brought back to the states by different veterans during and after the war.
You come up with the most fantastic stuff. You must have the best private collection in the States. Thank you for showing what you have collected, I look forward to it.

Thanks for the compliment plumberjack.
Great collection! I was wondering if you know anything about the two WWII Japanese katanas I have posted.
