Settee with a mystery to solve

I bought this settee this weekend and wanted to try and see if anyone can tell me the style and try and date it. It does have a crack in the back but I am fine with the, it has inlay of mother of pearl and another lighter wood. Looks like it may have come from New York area, it has a very old tag from where it had been restored or recovered at one time. The tag is from "Well Known Decorators" and had an address but after I looked up the address the company is not there anymore. I thought think this is a fun oiece to investigate.
