I bought this 1997 retired Milwaukee police Harley Davidson Electra Glide, FLHTPI motorcycle this year. Got for a good price so I couldn't pass on. It did need the usual oil changes
with all oils, new tires, brake pads. The engine needed a new "engine temperature sensor", as engine would run real rough and engine light would light up. It would serge when in neutral and wanted to stall. Changed the engine sensor and ALL issues went away! So now runs great added the Whelen, pole light that was removed when sold from police department.
I have updated two photos with the “97” numbers. Police departments would add numbers to the motorcycles. I chose 97 as 1997 is the year of motorcycle.
