My mother-in-laws bike that she said has been in the barn for over 30 years. I would like to know history avout this anf asn approximate value. A lot of the ones I've looked at online didnt have the tank looking piece on it. Any information on this piece would be much appreciated.
Unfortunately, in that condition, the bike isn't worth much, the 'tank' is probably worth more than the bike as a whole. The cost to restore it would probably be more than the bike would ever be worth.
I have restored several bikes for people where the sentimental value was more than the cost to restore, meaning to the owner it didn't matter how much it cost they wanted 'their old bike' back.
Well, thats awesome to know! Shes thinking about just using it as a decoration piece. Thanks so much for the info!
