    This little 4" dish is in what we in the UK would call Vaseline glass. It looks as though it has been smeared with the Vaseline which is nowadays translucent not like the original clear yellow/green. It has a clear uranium green base, opalescent stripes and bowl and cranberry rim, a lovely combination. It was probably made in the Stourbridge area of England around 1880-1900 but it's difficult to pin down a maker. The square shape is unusual.
