Chinese Cloisonné Enamel Censer Quail on Fitted Wood Base Stands

My wife and I purchased these Cloisonne birds from an antique dealer in Fredericksburg VA in 1988 . The only info that he told us was that they were made antiques and made in Pekin China . I was hoping someone could tell me more about them . We are both retired and starting to give things to our children and I would like to properly describe them .
