I have a pair of these lamps that were given as gifts to my parents about 1974. I don’t want an appraisal. I’m merely seeking information on brand. I was told that they are Stiffel but I don’t think they are. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

Doubt they are Stiffel, especially with that Plain Jane finial.

1974 fits the date these were made perfectly. Unfortunately there were many companies products vying for sale during those years. Unless you find someone with the same lamp marked you might get some help there. There were companies from North America and Italy making similar lamps and the tough part is that 99 percent were never marked, so perfect attribution is nearly impossible.
