    This original oil on board measures 20" X 20" and depicts a VN era infantryman at rest.

    The really neat thing about this piece is the raised white cutout that represents the 13 star flag.

    It is one of my favorites.

    It was painted in 1971 by James Janx and is signed.

    The artist was very familiar with an infantryman's gear and may have been a veteran himself. I like the smiley face button on the butt pack!
