    Ivory handle, a small bit is broken and or missing where the end of handle meets the blade. There is a shell like pattern top of handle. The sheath seems to be leather and silver? With some squiggles design up and down the sheath as well as stitching. Thank you.

      looks like a Dufilho knife Made in New Orleans. Possibly Civil War era.
