found these a few months back amongst a bunch of books in an old bookshelf. both big pictures are roughly 8 x 10 1/4 inches, the smaller one is 3 1/2 x 5 3/8 inches. not sure when they were printed, but assuming it was after lindy's flight. the smaller image has "Capt. Charles A Lindbergh left Roosevelt Field Friday May 20, 1927. Arrived in Paris, France Saturday May 21/'27" written in pencil on the back. All three images have (copyright) Underwood on them. just curious if anyone can give me any more info on them, especially as far as how rare they are and what kind of value they hold. thank you in advance for any help.
It all depends on what era they were printed.
Modern copies have little value. Original c. 1927 images will have value.
It is hard to tell if these are old based on the images posted. Post the back-- it may help in determining age.

i am 95 percent sure they are originals, mostly becuase of the envelope i found them in. its the original manilla folder from Underwood photo that they originally got shipped in. pic of the back is up too, just so you can see.
If original, then I would expect the larger photos to bring about $15-$30.
The smaller one would probably be in that range too-- at the lower end.
Wire service images are available on the market and have reasonable interest from collectors. Several newspapers released their archives in recent years and there are a few sellers who deal exclusively in these.
An ebay search might turn up these same images.
Thanks for posting,

nice, thats actually more than i thought. not planning on getting rid of them becuase they'll look better hanging up somewhere, but i can keep them off the list of things to run back into the house to get in case of fire, haha. thanks for the info, very appreciated.
