This is a shape I collect, mainly because they can be found in the U.K. Art Deco Welz is thin on the ground here. It's an example of vertical lines, but one I haven't seen before, The base is yellow but I suspect that the patchy green comes from the added thin blue layer.
Height 12.5 cm./5 inches
A really nice decor on this Peggy.
That last photo - wow!
what a great collection you have
racer4four, The only other example of this décor I've come across is on a vase owned by Jericho. What you don't find can be as telling as what you do find.
kivatinitz. Thank you for a lovely compliment. Searching for glass is favourite hobby.
Nice collection, but really like the green one.
You're right about the colour.I have a vase with a crack in which it is clearly visible that green is made of yellow and blue.
Searching1, I appreciate the compliments but as to photography I only use a phone and I've learned by trial and error.
inky I too like the green one, Penny, as it isn't often seen.
Ivonne, Same with red and yellow overlapping and making orange in spatter décors.
