Very delicate stretched " face " on this Imperial Free Hand Jack in the Pulpit vase. The color is an interesting violet to gold.
Original Free Hand paper label.
10 inches high.
Had to pay too much for it but that's an auction for you.

Makes me think of pouting lips---just beautiful!
LoetzBuddies-- when you have some time, I'd appreciate you taking a look at the vase I just posted:

Thanks,

Scott : your vase is definately not Imperial.
I believe it is Poschinger (German).
Go to Live Auctioneers and search Poschinger red vase (Sold auctions)

Thanks-- found some on ebay that look to have similar interior texture and coloration.
What is inconsistent about Imperial? Color, style, amber rim?
Thanks again for your help.
Scott
Imperial did not do this vivid red. Also did not do the pie-crust top.
Go to Ernie's site IMPERIALARTGLASS.COM for great pics and info.

Thanks-- I appreciate your help.
I am waiting to see your next posting!

Does the era still make sense as early 20th century?
I THINK THE PIECE IS LATER. I ONCE SAW A VASE WITH MAROON HEARTS AND VINES AND IT WAS LISTED AS ART NOUVEAU. I BOUGHT IT AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE A POSHINGER PIECE FROM THE 1950'S. SO I GAVE IT TO MY CHURCH YARD SALE !!!
