This brooch is 2 inches in diameter and very high wattage! Signed B David. I do like the icy rhinestone brooches. Something very wintry about them. My first B. David addition. A thrift store find, so I thought why not?

    Thanks for stopping by!

Beautiful! I'm a fan of wintry clear pieces too, especially when the visual design is so strong that adding colour would be almost too much. And B. David is still relatively affordable to collect. I wouldn't have resisted this one, either ;)

Another "North American" maker who made simple yet beautiful pieces! Started in 1945, this piece ( I'm guessing) is from the 50's! And look! No dead/dark/ yellowed crystals! And look at that rhodium back! Like a mirror! How about that?
"High Wattage" is a perfect adjective Maureen!
