Your Native American view is very desirable-- who was it taken by?
Thanks for sharing,
Scott
Scott:
There is no indication like on the other cards with "Underwood and Underwood". I have four of these which are numbered.
1. #256 Indian Chiefs and Squaw, at Fort Union
2. #309 Pawnee Indians receiving their Gov't annuity
3. #306 Peter La Cherre, Head Chief of the Pawnee Indians
4. #735 The Pueblos of Taos, New Mexico
Nice-- post the others when you get a chance.
The 1860s- 1870s flat mount (yellow and orange) cards were done in much smaller numbers and are significantly more desirable than the later mass produced Underwood/ Strohmeyer/ Griffith/ Keystone views.

I have a bunch of the orange and yellow cards. E&HT Anthony&Co. or W.M. Chase. Both are shots of the White House or scenes of the Washington D.C. area.
What about color shots of the SanFrancisco earthquake? I'll get more photos posted, thanks for your input!
The color shots of the SF earthquake are most likely lithograph views and not very desirable.
Post some of them when you have the time.
