Here is a 6"H pale green iridescent handpainted glass egg showing a seahorse amidst ocean seaweed, made by Fenton Glass of WV, their retired item #5146-J4 signed on bottom by artist J Kunz. Limited edition of 3000, this is number 1941

Hi MrsT, great to see you here & thank you for the lovely compliment! I wanted one of Fenton's painted eggs for my Easter posts, and when I saw this seahorse, cause I love them I knew it was for me :)
Phil thank you for your awesome comment, the Fenton artists sure have it down doing such delicate work, I think this underwater seahorse is really creative
Thank you Ralph for your delightful praise, I'm thrilled that you found this egg stunning, it sort of enhances the beauty of sea life with all the pretty sea grass accents. When my finds can bring you & others here a bit of joy, then I'm happy!
Penny I know you love all ocean and fish designs, and am so glad you enjoyed this egg! I try to mix in some sea & land animals cause the world is full of so many lovely or interesting creatures and IMO they should make many more glass varieties (I'm getting a little into pottery ones soon). Thank you for your fab comment
So very beautiful!! I love it!
Very unusual item there and again in lovely pastel, eastery colours. Seahorse on it is lovely too, at a first glance I thought it was just gold patterning on it. Reminds me of those opulent Faberge eggs.
Many thanks to you all for the kind love

Scott thank you for the terrific compliment, it's my own Easter Egg contribution this year & I'm glad you approve!
You are totally on point Lauren, very like a Faberge egg design. I struggled which one to choose as Fenton made many different ones (the purple florals are gorgeous) but the seahorse in his misty green ocean home stole my heart. Fabulous comment thank you so much
Thanks Truthisanarrow08 & Daisy for the kind love for this Fenton egg, very glad you both liked it and always appreciate your thoughtfulness
