Quite an unusual Loetz decor (that I've never seen or even heard of) - Annagrün uranium glass ground with internal four-sided optical features, and contrasting Russian green "Rosetten" prunts. The shape is Loetz Production Number (PN) III-355/10", which is one of the forms Powolny used in the Werkbund Exhibition of 1914. It is unknown whether Powolny had a hand in the actual decor or not, but it wouldn't surprise me. 25.5 cm, or 10" tall. "Annagelb vier optisch" is mentioned on the paper pattern for PN III-4458, dating to 1928. I assume vier optisch is different from quadraoptisch in that the shapes are more rectangular than square.
Love the sleek form and crazy iridescence!
I would love to have it and look always under the uv light..... Very interesting....
