I have a similar one and thought it was a Millsite. But I understand that Millsite always embossed their name on the belly. Mine (nor yours) shows evidence of that. Please post if you find out.
colley4211: haven't look in my tackle box but think I have or had a lure like your showing-the piece of metal done two things-noise and a fluttering action when retrieved-Been many years since I have done any casting-thanks for the posting
ha awesome
This Lure is Made by Johnson, "Carl A Johnson" I forget the actual name of the Lure, but it is his version of a River Runt made in the 30's ?
Sorry! The Lure is made by Jamison MFG. I get the two companys mixed up all the time!
The lure was made by the W.J. Jamison company. The lure is a "Jamison Quiverlure".
The lure contains twisted pieces of flat wire that quivered when the lure moved, this lure was made in three sizes and was also later manfactured by the Dillon Beck mfg. co.
