    I was able to acquire these two ceramic figures, with a height of about 29cm, recently. Both are from 1988, titled "Consumer" & "Chemical Plant". They are both signed Michael Lord. I only found a Canadian artist by the same name, but their work is a little different visually. For that reason I'll post you as a mystery and hope that's ok.

      Consumer is the total package !!!

      Chernobyl was in 1986.
